Woman killed in hit-and-run crash in Northwest Baltimore

BALTIMORE, Md. — A woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Northwest Baltimore.

On Wednesday at about 10:30 a.m., a grey 2011 Honda Accord was traveling southbound in the 3700 block of Greenspring Avenue. Detectives believe the driver of the vehicle lost control and hit a taxicab that was traveling northbound on Greenspring Avenue.

After the crash, police say the driver of the Honda and a passenger inside the Honda, both left the crash scene on foot.

There were two people inside the taxicab at the time of the crash. The driver was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The passenger was transported to an area hospital where she died from her injuries.
