BALTIMORE — After several days of worry, the Monument City Brewing family is whole again as brewery cat Will has been returned.

The brewery announced the reconciliation on Facebook, and fans of the brewery responded jubilantly in the comment section.

“We want to thank everyone for getting the word out and helping us get our guy back!” the Facebook post read. “We also want to thank the people that brought him back home. Will is excited to get back to work.”

The brewery said the return of their furry friend was reason enough to throw a party Friday night at their facility on Haven Street in East Baltimore's Kresson neighborhood.

Will’s disappearance was first announced Monday night. The brewery shared surveillance photos of three people that looked to be luring the cat to them as Will wondered outside. Employees guessed that the passersby were well intentioned, thinking Will was lost or abandoned. Monument City Brewing simply asked for his swift return.

The celebratory Facebook post said to stay tuned to the brewery’s social media for more information about a potential Friday party. Staff also said they would be taking Will to the Baltimore Animal Shelter and Care Society, or BARCS, shortly to get microchipped so his location could be tracked if he were to disappear again.
