A warning for travelers, you can expect some trains to be delayed at Baltimore's Penn Station for the next two weekends.
Amtrak will be doing some necessary track work, which means the MARC Train weekend service on the Penn Line may experience delays July 15-16 and July 22-23. All trains could be running 10 to 20 minutes late all four days.
Some trains will end or start at the West Baltimore MARC Train station, with shuttle buses to and from Penn Station. On Saturdays June 15 and 22, the Penn Line will operate on a Sunday schedule with some modifications. The MTA has posted a full list of modifications here.
The track work will replace a part of the railroad needed to maintain safe and reliable operations.
