Weekend stabbing and shootings leave three dead, others injured in Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WMAR) — A stabbing and multiple shootings left three people dead and four others injured over the weekend in Baltimore.

The latest incident happened just after 5 a.m. Sunday at a home in the 500 block of N. Payson Street.

Western District officer's were first called to the scene for an injured person, but when they arrived they found a man stabbed inside the location.

Medics pronounced the victim dead on scene.

Three hours before, officer's were patrolling when they heard gunshots coming from the unit block of Guilford Avenue. Shortly after, they found a 30-year-old man shot to the leg. He was taken to a local hospital.

Across the city, around 8 p.m. Saturday officer's in the Eastern District were dispatched to the 1100 block of E. North Avenue for a shot spotter alert.

There police found a man and woman that had each been shot. The man later died, while the woman suffered only a graze wound to the shoulder.

About a half hour earlier a mile away, police responded to another double shooting, this time in the 900 block of N. Eden Street.

Arriving officers found an adult male and female each suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were taken to an area hospital where their condition is unknown.

Then 15-minutes before that, a woman was shot to death in the 5200 block of Cuthbert Avenue in Northwest Baltimore.

Police haven't yet released the names of any victims. So far there have been no arrests made.
