A 36-inch water main broke late Wednesday night in the 2700 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway in Northwest Baltimore.
Three area schools were closed Thursday and announced that they will remain closed through the weekend.
Gwynns Falls Elementary, ConneXions and MATHS (Maryland Academy of Technology and Health Sciences) will be closed Friday.
