A water main break has closed Mulberry Street between Green and Paca streets in Baltimore, according to the Baltimore Department of Public Works.
Officials said a DPW inspector fell into the sinkhole Monday night around 9 p.m. and was taken to an area hospital with injuries.
DPW spokesman Jeffrey Raymond said the safety perimeter around the sinkhole was enlarged as a precaution.
Watch for detours in the area.
