A water main break caused serious damage to a street in the 3600 block Keystone Ave. Friday.
According to the Baltimore Department of Public Works, the brake may have been related to a fire in the area.

Officials said a hydrant being shut down too quickly could have caused a "hammer" effect in the line.
Crews ensured residents they would restore water service as soon as possible. The road will have to be repaired.
