Two shot and injured in separate cross town shootings

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police said two are injured Sunday evening, following cross town shootings.

7:07 p.m.

In West Baltimore, after receiving a call about a shooting, officers found a 29-year-old victim with a shooting injury.

Detectives leading the investigation, later learned that the incident occurred in the area of Carey Street.

The victim was taken to the hospital.

8:50 p.m.

On the cities east side, officers responded to a shooting in the 800 block of McAleer Court of Latrobe Homes.

There, they found a female victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

She was taken to the hospital.
