Two shootings in North Baltimore, police investigate

BALTIMORE — On Thursday night, just before 11:00p.m., Northwest District patrol officers were dispatched to the 3700 block of Fairview Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Officers encountered a 45 year-old man who was shot in the abdomen.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital. Detectives from the Northwest District are investigating.

A few hours later, just before 2:00a.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to the 2500 block of Sinclair Lane for a report of a shooting.

Officers found a 58 year-old man shot in the leg.

The victim was transported to an area hospital with a non-life threatening injury.
