Two families will now have to find new homes after a heavy fire grazed through their dwelling on the 1200 block of Whatcoat Street in West Baltimore.
According to fire officials, a little before 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Baltimore Fire responded to a 2-story resident that had heavy flames blazing through its infrastructure.
They say no one was severely hurt and a firefighter was transported to a hospital for minor injuries.
The two families that have been displaced are being helped by The Red Cross.
Officials have confirmed that the fire is under control and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
