Fire crews are battling two building fires Friday morning only two miles apart in Baltimore City.
One happened in the 1800 block of North Payson Street between North and Westwood Avenues. The fire is under control and there are no reports of injuries at this time.
Fire crews say they got the call around 5:00 in the morning. Hours later they are still on the scene making sure the fire didn't spread to the neighboring houses, and they are ventilating the home and patching up windows.
Firefighters on the scene say the fire started on the first floor and made its way to the second floor.
The second building fire happened on Reistertown Road at Springhill Avenue. Fire crews are blocking all lanes on Route 140.
ABC2 News has not been able to confirm any additional information about the second fire.
