Sgt. Alicia White is the first officer to speak publicly about her experience following the death of Freddie Gray.
Gray was fatally injured while in police custody and died in April 2015. Six officers were charged with Gray's death.
Judge Barry Williams acquitted three officers in the case, and the jury trial of a fourth officer ended in a mistrial. The Baltimore State’s Attorney’s Office ultimately decided to drop the charges in the remaining cases, including White’s.
