BALTIMORE — Three overnight ramp closures on well-trafficked Baltimore-area highways may affect drivers.
The closure of the ramp from I-95 South to Eastern Avenue (Exit 59) will result in drivers being detoured to O’Donnel Street (Exit 57), to Interstate Avenue, to Ponca Street, to O’Donnell Street, to I-95 North, then to Eastern Avenue (Exit 59) from that approach.
Also, the closure of the ramp from MD 295 North/Russell Street to I-95 North will detour drivers to Russell Street, to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, to I-395 South, to I-95 North.
Both closures will last from 9 p.m. Thursday, May 9, until 5 a.m. Friday, May 10.
In South Baltimore, another closure will take two days of closures for work to be completed. The ramp from I-95 North to Hanover Street (Exit 54) will close on Thursday, May 9, and again on Sunday, May 12, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next morning. Drivers will be detoured onto Key Highway (Exit 55), to eastbound McComas Street, to a U-turn onto westbound McComas Street, to Hanover Street.
All three projects are so crews can perform concrete repairs.
