The Basketball Tournament is coming back to Baltimore.
Mayor Pugh made the announcement Wednesday at Morgan State University.
The games are back in Baltimore for the second year. Last year they were held at Coppin State University, this year the tournament will be held at Morgan State University.
"The light does shine on Baltimore as a result of the TBT and this tournament. We want our young people to come out and experience this national attention, but also the competitiveness that takes place," said Mayor Catherine Pugh. "I was at the games. It is exciting. So if you want to see something exciting, you want to be here at this tournament."
The semifinals will be held on Thursday, August 2, the championship game will be held on Friday, August 3.
The grand prize is $2 million.
