The American Heart Association hosts its second annual ' Bodywerk' 90-minute dance class event to shed light on heart health and an active fitness lifestyle.
With heart disease being the leading cause of death in women the event was able to bring awareness to a large group of women and share information on a huge platform.
'Bodywerk' was held Tuesday evening inside of an exercise studio in Parkville.
The women that attended the event were able to speak with a Cardiologist about healthy hearts. they also received free blood pressure screenings and were able to learn healthy lifestyle tips.
