BALTIMORE — Thanksgiving is all about coming together and enjoying a good meal and thanks to the Ed Reed Foundation, students at the SEED School of Maryland will be able to do that with their families this week.

On Friday, volunteers packed up the turkey, stuffing and all the trimmings to make a delicious Thanksgiving meal.

Then, they handed them out to around 400 students to take home.

Ed Reed was not there due to being sick, but Former Baltimore Raven Gerrard Sheppard was there to help out.

"They're so happy, man," Sheppard said. "They are just ecstatic to be her and they're all going home with a turkey and you know, corn bread and stuffing. It's just a great feeling to be here in the community in touch with this kids."

This was the 9th year for the Ed Reed Thanksgiving Blessings.
