BALTIMORE — The violence in Baltimore has impacted everyone, even the youngest members of our community.

On Friday, Cristo Rey Jesuit High School held a peace march honoring the young lives that have been lost.

It started on the corner of Eastern Avenue and South Chester Street. Students, teachers and community members then made their way to city hall.

"One of the big things that motivates us to do this is to teach people about the compassion that we lack in the city," said student Zachary Bacon. "I think that's a big part of this whole violence thing that's been happening and also we want to stand together for the people who have lost their lives."

Once at city hall, they held a prayer vigil for the children who've been killed by gun violence this year.
