Teenage girl shot in Cherry Hill during group fight, man killed in Northeast Baltimore

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating two Monday night shootings, one resulting in a homicide.

At 10:45 p.m., officers were called to the 3300 block of Round Road in Cherry Hill for a shooting. On the scene, police found a 17-year-old girl with a gunshot wound to her legs. She was taken to an area hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.

Investigators believe she was connected to a group of girls fighting, when one of them pulled out a gun and shot her.

At 11:00 p.m. in Northeast Baltimore, police responded to the 3400 block of Ramona Avenue where they found 36-year-old Brock Burton with gunshot wounds to his body. Police said, Burton died a short time later at Johns Hopkins-Bayview.
