Teen shot and injured in Southeast Baltimore tells police he was driving when a car next him started firing

BALTIMORE — Police said a teen was shot and injured in Southeast Baltimore Tuesday night.

At 11:30 p.m., officers responded to a call to investigate a walk-in shooting victim at Harbor Hospital. There, they found an 18-year-old male who was suffering from a gunshot wound to the right leg.

The victim told officers and detectives that he was driving in the 3700 block of Bay Street when someone drove up next to him in a dark colored Chrysler 300 and began shooting at him.

Citywide shooting detectives are investigating this shooting and are asking anyone with information regarding incident to call detectives at (410) 396-2221.
