Superheroes stormed the Samuelson Children’s Hospital at Sinai Wednesday morning for the Lenny “Batman” Robinson Hope for Henry Program kickoff party.

The foundation sponsors parties and events, and gives kids with cancer and other serious illnesses gifts tailored to their interests.

The program was founded in 2003 in honor of Henry Strongin, who died of cancer.

Superman, Spiderman, Wonder Woman, Captain America and the Flash are some of the superheroes who swooped in for Robinson, a longtime volunteer who was killed in a car accident last August.
