The National Aquarium is throwing open its doors to the public while challenging their generosity Sunday, hosting a "Pay What You Want Day," Sunday, Nov. 4.

The promotion lasts from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Guests can donate any amount they choose, with the funds supporting the mission of "inspiring conservation of the world's aquatic treasures," the aquarium said. The promotion is an attempt to make the aquarium more accessible, and it's sponsored by T. Rowe Price.
