Sending your tips to police could crack a case

Posted

Police detectives need the help of ordinary citizens to do their job. That's why the Baltimore City Police has several different ways that you can send in tips.

"We want to give people the ability to contact people however they feel comfortable doing it," said Detective Jeremy Silbert. "Which is calling [Metro Crime Stoppers], you can text us, photos, links, videos, sometimes the smallest detail can put us on the right path."

If you have any information about crimes, contact 443-902-4824. You don't need to include your name.

Even if a tip seems insignificant to you, it could make a huge difference to a detective working on the case.
