The school bus involved in Tuesday's deadly collision with an MTA bus was suspended from providing charter service.

AA Afordable Transportation failed to report revenues, resulting in the Public Service Commission suspending their charter service in October of 2015.

The company owed the state less than $50. The PSC said that was an administration violation, not a safety issue.
