The Salvation Army is holding a grand opening for its first ever nonprofit grocery store in East Baltimore Wednesday.
The 7,000 square foot store will be on East 29th Street over by the Waverly Shopping Center.
Store officials say the goal is to expand the food availability for the community while also meeting the immediate needs of customers.
