BALTIMORE — The weekslong search for a missing Baltimore man has ended with a murder confession. Baltimore Police announced the arrest of 28 year-old Epenetus Henriques for the murder of his roommate, 29-year-old Isaiah Drummond.
Friends said Drummond was a good, hardworking man and Drummond's father told WMAR-2 News that Drummond had a 6-year-old son, that he had just started a new job, that he was a peacemaker. And that he and his roommate, who is now charged with his murder, had been friends since they were kids.
Family first reported Drummond missing on January 28, after he hadn't been seen in a week.
Police found signs of foul play at Drummond's home in the 2500 block of Cecil Avenue, which led them to his roommate.

On Monday, they located his roommate Epenetus Henriques and brought him in for questioning. At that time, police said he admitted to fatally stabbing Drummond.
Later that same day, Henriques led investigators to the 100 block of Reedbird Avenue in Cherry Hill, where they found Drummond's body in a shallow watered area.
Police didn't release any information on what led to the stabbing, or a motive.
Henriques has been charged with first degree murder and is being held without bond.
