There was a lot of time spent at home over the weekend and that stretched into the first part of the week for some people.
For business owners, it was about getting back as soon as possible and opening their doors again after the snow forced them closed.
Phil Han owns Dooby's on Charles street in Mt. Vernon. Han told ABC2 the streets were constantly getting plowed and they worked together with the building owner to get the sidewalk shoveled.
They were closed Saturday and Sunday but were able to open up just a couple hours late on Monday.
"I think everyone had cabin fever during the weekend so we definitely saw a huge amount of residential support here in Mt Vernon when we opened on Monday. Our place was completely packed Monday and Tuesday, I think everyone off of work and school were in here hanging out with us," Han said.
Dooby's is on the long list of restaurants participating in Baltimore Restaurant Week, which has been extended.
You now have until February 7th to take advantage of those deals.
Baltimore County Restaurant Week has also been extended to the same February weekend.
