BALTIMORE, Md — From overdose to overjoy!

An unique program is helping recovering addicts. The 'I’m Still Standing By Grace' drug treatment program in Baltimore partnered with Art With A Heart. Their goal is to help clients who are battling with drug addiction look at themselves differently.

The clients looked in the mirror and painted self portraits on Thursday. It is therapy that is meant to boost morale by letting patients see themselves in a positive light as they continue to fight addiction.

"I'm just actually elated to be able to have my clients showcased positively, because a lot of times when you talk about the disease of addiction and people are involved in this disease," said a By Grace counselor. "It's always a horror story. It's always somebody's dying, going to jail, robbed somebody, overdose."

Their paintings will be hung on the walls of the clinic.

By Grace treats 300 clients daily with methadone.
