September is National Hunger Action Month.

Nearly 40 million Americans with more than 12 million children suffer from food insecurity.

That's why ShopRite brought a new initiative called "Help Bag Hunger Day" to help the local community beat the statistics.

In hopes of raising awareness about the issue of food insecurity, ShopRite Partners In Caring invited Ravens' Rookie Offensive Tackle Orlando Brown Jr. to help bag groceries at their local ShopRite store in Timonium.

ShopRite Partners In Caring is a year-round, community-based, hunger-fighting initiative that works with more than 50 food industry manufacturers to provide $3 million annually to qualified charitable agencies in all the states where our ShopRite stores operate.
