Baltimore residents can expect to see an increase in their water bills. The Board of Estimates passed a water bill rate hike by a 3-2 vote Wednesday.
Officials said the increase will benefit city infrastructure.

Under the proposed hike, Baltimore City and some county residents could pay 33 percent more for water over the next three years and will be charged new fees.
Starting in October, water bills will be sent monthly instead of quarterly.
