Police: Victims walk into hospitals with gunshot wounds in separate shooting incidents

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating two separate shooting incidents where victims walked into hospitals with gunshot wounds.

On Thursday at about 2:50 p.m., officers responded to an area hospital where a shooting victim had just walked in.

When officers arrived, they found a 22 year-old man who had been shot in his right leg. Police say the victim's injuries are non-life threatening.

Northwest District shooting detectives are investigating this incident and have learned the victim was shot in the 4200 block of Rogers Avenue.

Almost an hour hour later, officers responded to an area hospital for a shooting victim who had recently walked in. When officers arrived at the hospital, they found a 34 year-old man who had been shot in the back of the head.

According to police, the victim was conscious and alert.
