Baltimore City police are searching for driver who injured a man in a hit and run crash Saturday morning
At 2:30 a.m. officers responded to the 300 block in Russell street for a reported crash.
Police said when emergency crews arrived they located a man, 23, who was struck by a vehicle.
The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
In the initial investigation, it was determined the vehicle was traveling southbound before it struck the pedestrian on Russell Street.
Investigators said the vehicle is dark colored BMW and has headlight damage.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police.
