Baltimore City Police an officer sustained non-life threatening injuries in a Thursday night hit-and-run.
The officer was hit by a car on Maryland Avenue at 21st Street. Police say the driver abandoned the 1999 Ford truck and the vehicle was later towed by police.
The officer was taken to an area hospital for precautionary treatment. A suspect has not yet been identified.
