BALTIMORE — Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in Southeast Baltimore.

On Monday at about 4:30 p.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to the 500 block of Grundy Street for a report of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a 39-year-old man shot in the head.

The victim was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Homicide detectives are investigating this incident.
