Police investigates a shooting that injured a man in Northwest Baltimore

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating a shooting on the city's west side.

At 3:58 p.m., officers were called to a reported shooting in the 3000 block of West Belvedere Avenue, near the Pimlico Race Track.

On the scene, police found a man who was shot in his upper and lower body. The department said, officers quickly applied a tourniquet to the his leg until medics arrived on the scene.

He was taken to the hospital where his condition is unknown at this time.
