Baltimore police are investigating a pedestrian-involved crash in West Baltimore that killed a woman Wednesday.
Around 2:15 p.m. officers responded to the 2600 block of Edmondson Avenue for a crash involving a trash truck, a vehicle and a female pedestrian.
It is unclear which vehicle struck the woman, but police described her injuries as "catastrophic." She was taken to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The cause of the crash has yet to be determined.
