Police found a man with a gunshot wound to the head Friday night in East Baltimore

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating a Friday night homicide in East Baltimore.

At 10:50 p.m., officers said they heard gunshots while in the area of North Avenue and Collington Avenue. When they responded to to the 1700 block of N. Collington Avenue, police found an unresponsive 38-year-old man with a shooting injury to his head.

He was taken to an area hospital where died, Saturday morning.

This homicide investigation is open and ongoing. Anyone with information regarding this murder is asked to call detectives at (410) 396-2100 or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup
