Police believes two shootings on Baltimore's east side are related

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating two shootings, they believe are connected on the city's east side.

4:34 P.M.

Officers were called to the 2300 block of Homewood Avenue, where they found an unidentified man who was suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition.

Investigators learned that the victim was involved in a verbal altercation when he was shot.

4:43 P.M.

According to the department, a 27 year-old man was dropped off at an area hospital with a gunshot wound to his chest.

He told police that he was shot on the east side.

Detectives believe it may be related to the Homewood Avenue shooting.

There's no updates on his condition.
