Man struck, killed by Metro SubwayLink train in Upton

BALTIMORE — A man is dead after being struck and killed by a Metro SubwayLink train on Wednesday.

MTA has confirmed the incident happened at the Upton Metro SubwayLink Station in Baltimore.

Service between State Center and Penn North was suspended as result. A bus bridge had been put in place between the two stops to assist those impacted.

As of 4:50 p.m., service resumed.

Details leading up to the incident are unclear at this time. MTA Police are continuing to investigate. The deceased mans identity has not been released.
