UPDATE: Police confirm that they have taken a suspect into custody. They will continue to investigate what happened inside the home in the 1000 block of Gay St.
Police activity had closed several streets to traffic in east Baltimore early Thursday. The activity centered around Biddle and Gay Streets.
According to a Public Information Officer, a call of a possible armed person came in around 3 a.m. Thursday. Police say the incident "appears to be confided to a home" and may be a domestic situation. No injuries have been reported nor is it considered a hostage situation at this time.
