Phil was stranded in Delaware and rescued by a team from the National Aquarium. After a few months in rehab he's healthy and ready to be released into the ocean.
He recovered from an eye infection, dehydration, and other ailments while in the care of the Animal Rescue team. Now he's eating on his own and tests show he's in good health.
Phil will be transported to Gateway National Recreation Area at Sandy Hook, New Jersey to be released on June 27. The release will take place at 10:30 a.m. and is open to the public.
