A go-to stop for coffee and treats in Baltimore closed its doors Thursday.
In January, ABC2 reported Park Cafe & Coffee Bar on McMechen Street was robbed five times since October 2016.
Owner David Hart did what he could to increase security. The shop went cashless, shortened hours and installed cameras.
A post was made on social media to tell Baltimoreans that one of their popular coffee shops was closing.
W/ mixed emotions we announce our close @ end of business today. Our decision has not come easily & now is the time while on top of our game pic.twitter.com/fS9sNIgvBF

ABC2 spoke to the Park Cafe owners who said that the robberies had an impact, but were not the reason for the closure.
