Tis the season for ice skating.

The Pandora Ice Rink has returned to the Inner Harbor Amphitheater for the holiday season.

Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and mayor-elect Catherine Pugh attended the opening ceremony Friday,  where they each spoke for a few before the rink opened to the public.

In honor of Veteran's Day, the first 100 people,  all active military and veterans received free skate rentals and skating time.

This is the third year the ice rink has been an attraction at the Inner Harbor and the second year it has been sponsored by Pandora.

The ice rink is known to bring in around 17,000 skaters from the greater Baltimore area and surrounding counties.
