Vehicles for Change helped 20 low-income families in the Baltimore area get a car on Wednesday.

Wednesday afternoon, Mayor Pugh, Heritage, and Vehicles for Change presented the cars to the families.

Now, instead of relying on public transportation, the families will have the freedom to go wherever, whenever.

The cars were donated by Heritage.

Vehicles for Change is a nonprofit that takes donated cars, and repairs them for families in need. The cars are given to families at a low cost for those who apply through social service partnering agencies.
