Baltimore City Fire officials confirm that one person was injured in a fire overnight in east Baltimore. Crews were called just after midnight on Sunday to the home at E 21st and Greenmount Ave where they found fire and smoke on the first and second floors. One person was rushed to a hospital for treatment; their condition this morning was serious but stable.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
