Baltimore Fire Department were working to free a trapped person at a construction site in southwest Baltimore Monday morning.
Emergency response crews were called to the 900 block of Desoto Road around 6 a.m. for a person trapped under “a load of wooden trusses.”
Officials say the man, in is 70s was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the incident, is still under investigation.
Officials warned drivers to avoid the area as Desoto was blocked at Wilkens Ave; MTA buses were also being re-routed.
