The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and Maryland Muslim leaders will gather Monday at Baltimore's Masjid Ihsan to remember the life and legacy of boxing legend Muhammad Ali.
The gathering will be led by a funeral prayer called "salat al-ghaib," which is performed for Muslims who have died in distant places.

Services are planned for Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Masjid Ihsan located at 3723 Gwynn Oak Avenue.
Ali, a former heavyweight champ and activist, died Friday at age 74 after a longtime battle with Parkinson’s disease.
