The Maryland Department of Transportation named Kevin Quinn as new acting administrator two weeks before the launch of the new BaltimoreLink transit system.
Quinn replaces Paul Comfort, who was appointed to the position by Governor Larry Hogan in April 2015.
Acting Administrator Quinn was promoted from his position as director of planning and programming for the MTA.
BaltimoreLink launches June 18 and is being hailed in promotional literature as a “complete overhaul and rebranding of the core transit system operating within the city and throughout the greater Baltimore region.”
