Mr. Trash Wheel has collected a staggering 16 dumpsters worth of garbage because of the heavy rain we've been seeing.
Crews helped the wheel along as it tried to keep up with the influx of debris in the inner harbor, however, they say none of the city’s trash wheels are equipped to deal with this amount of trash.
“Mr. Trash Wheel is not made to operate under these extreme weather events, so he’s doing the best he can eating 16 dumpsters of trash, but there’s a lot of other waterways that have also carried trash into the harbor, so it’s a state out there right now," explained Adam Lindquist with the Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore.
To help give mister trash wheel a break, make sure you properly dispose of your trash.
