The Maryland Department of Agriculture in conjunction with Baltimore City, will be spraying for mosquitos Sunday evening in various neighborhoods around the metropolitan area.
The action comes as a result for recent concern over mosquito-borne illnesses such as West Nile virus and Zika.
The public is advised to minimize outdoor activities on spray nights.
Within the next 24-48 hours after spraying, state and local inspectors will visit various properties for mosquito site breeding and will conduct backyard spraying as needed.
Spraying will begin at 7:30 p.m.
