A Morgan State University student experienced the biggest surprise of her life. In the midst of preparing herself for graduation day...her water breaks.

A biology major holding a 3.5 GPA, Claudette Wesley, knows all too well the excitement of a collegiate graduation. Having the opportunity to finally walk across the stage, shake her dean's hand, scream for joy while walking back to her seat, and tossing her cap in the air. But while she was imagining all of that, life had other plans.

In an Instagram post she later shared with family and friends, Wesley goes on to express her emotions that filled her heart.

"Although at first, I was sad to have worked so hard and have to miss college graduation, I couldn't feel any more accomplished," said Wesley.

Luckily, her family was right by her side, in the delivery room, sharing the moment of a precious graduation gift.

After all the labor pains, happiness, and accomplishment, there was just one more thing that needed to happen. A graduation ceremony in the delivery room. In a viral video that surfaced all over the internet, Claudette Wesley was shown wearing her Morgan State University cap and gown as she "walked across the stage" in her hospital room hallway, while family and friends stood lined up to individually shake her hand and give her a makeshift diploma.

Now, after all the excitement and surprises, Wesley hopes to take some time off to care for her new 7 pounds 8 oz. baby boy.

"I plan to start working first hopefully at the National Science Foundation where I had a couple internships."

Wesley also wasn't hesitant to tell ABC2 that she hopes to go back to school and receive a master's degree in preparation for medical school. But most of all, in her Instagram post she penned a statement to her new found joy.

"Roman, I promise I'll give you everything you ever dreamed of, you're the best gift ever."
